Overnight Oats

When I wake up the last thing I want to do is make breakfast. If I am going to eat a breakfast I want someone else to make it, clean up & bring it to me in bed. Anybody else?


The closest thing I have found to having breakfast brought to me in bed is preparing it the night before! I actually like breakfast now!


It's so easy, so let's dive right in!



Ingredients you'll need:


Old Fashioned Rolled Outs

Coconut Flakes

Chia Seeds

Cinnamon (this is my favorite)

Maple Syrup

Non-Dairy Milk (we go with coconut)

For an extra punch add in Flaxseed


Toppings:


Strawberries

Blueberries

Bananas

Peanut Butter


Directions:

(these are the directions for two people, or leftovers)


  1. Grab a sealable container

  2. Put in 2 cups of rolled oats

  3. Add in 2 cups of your milk of choice

  4. Add a handful of coconut flakes

  5. Add a hearty drizzle of maple syrup

  6. Add 2 tbsp of chia seeds

  7. Add a few shakes of the cinnamon

  8. Add 2 tbsp of flaxseed

Mix all of the ingredients together with a spoon, throw a lid on & put it in the fridge!


In the morning put your desired amount in a bowl and add the toppings that you choose! We hope you enjoy your delicious breakfast!
